The Trade Unions Congress has published a 16 page report on “extending working lives”, which looks into the reasons behind when a working life ceases, the diversity of retired individuals and what they doing now their working life has come to a close. One of the focuses of the report is how one in eight workers are forced to leave their working lives behind due to long-term sickness or disability.
