From the 29th of July 2022, regulation of “Funeral Plans”, pre-payed funerals, will become the responsibility of the Financial Conduct Authority and as such they had launched a consultation to garner responses to their current proposal. With plans to open a second round of consultation later this year, the FCA is currently reviewing the comments and preparing a policy statement.
