The report focuses on the financial impact that Covid-19 has caused for those in receipt of benefits, and is a follow up of a prior report. Using information gathered via survey of over 1,000 people who are claiming Universal Credit or “legacy benefits” (Such as Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support and Jobseekers’ Allowance), the report seeks to provide support for their call to extend the £20 Uplift to legacy benefits, alongside renewing the Uplift.
